Arts and culture

Gastronomy

The cuisine of Positano is very rich and imaginative: it ranges from traditional marine-related specialties to those farmers.

Other specialties include are the caprese sandwich, consisting of mozzarella and tomato, seasoned with oregano and fresh basil and garlic with "sconcillo" tomato, cheese from the famous fried mozzarella on lemon leaves.

The sweets are delicious lemon cake and caprese, the tart with orange marmalade and dipped in baba lemon liqueur.

Positano, like the Amalfi Coast, is also known for the production of alcoholic products made according to old recipes, such as limoncello.
